Musical evening to bid farewell to quarantined guests

Relevant News

Students and other guests in quarantine at a hotel in Paphos were treated to a musical evening on their last night, CNA reports.

It said the musical evening, which saw the participation of Geroskipou Municipality, was one several recreation programmes.

All people repatriating must spend 14 days in quarantine at facilities overseen by the government. Some 20 hotels around the island are being used, with a capacity of about 3000 guests every 14 hours.

The ‘farewell’ event for guests at the Aliathon Resort was held on Friday night with the completion of the 14 day quarantine of a first group of students.

Geroskipou mayor Michalis Pavlides said that together with the hotel management they had offered recreation to guests who have been quarantined in their rooms for 14 days.

Hotel owner Themis Philippides said the hotel had made every effort beyond the hygiene measures to ensure students had everything they needed in their rooms and cared for their proper nutrition.

Guests enjoyed the music from their balconies.
