Relevant News

Finance Minister Constantinos Petrides will join an online discussion with investors on Cyprus’ response to the coronavirus pandemic.

The discussion is being organised by Invest Cyprus as part of its support to measures to restart the economy by supporting existing investors and submitting proposals to the government to further improve the investment climate.

The online discussion “Cyprus – Covid-19 Response Plan: What lies ahead,” will be held on Tuesday, April 28. The main speakers will be Petrides and Invest Cyprus president and general manager Michael Michael and George Campanellas.

The aim is to brief existing foreign investors on the measures being taken by the government to deal with the consequences of the pandemic and to restart the economy.

Foreign investors will also be able to make their own suggestions and share their views and concerns.

Last week, Invest Cyprus submitted proposals regarding a promotion campaign of Cyprus as an investment destination and international business centre in the international media, the internet and social media over the next 18 months.

Proposals were also submitted regarding new government policies and incentives to reinforce Cyprus’ image as an attractive destination.

Meanwhile Invest Cyprus president has praised the contributions made by foreign investors to Cyprus’ fight against the pandemic through CING and Okypi.

Michael thanked Exness, Easybrain, TheSoul Publishing, WiseBits, Embria, FunCorp, Haxus, Servers.com, Nexters, Ecommpay.com, Ecommbanx.com, AsGuard Software and Roman Semiokin for their willingness to help.
