Earth is calling us in many ways, also through the strays. This is one of the many open days for dogs to follow. Together with Dog Valley rescue center, the “Earth is calling” team invite you all to join them on SATURDAY 19/2 at 11:00 -13:00
Some of the shelter’s dogs were not so fortunate in life and do not have a permanent home and a loving family.
Volunteers at Dog Valley rescue center care for them with the hope that they will soon find their forever home.
You will give the opportunity to some dogs to enjoy a longer walk than usual and get used to human presence and human touch by inviting all of you to join the “Earth is callin” team on Saturday 19th February 11:00 am and take dogs for walks.
This is an opportunity for people who love dogs, who either already have pets at home and cannot have more, or cannot have any, to offer some of their time to these doggies.
The shelter’s representatives will welcome and introduce the guests to the issues regarding care, strays, challenges and more and then you will have the opportunity to walk with dogs.
***Please do not come if your intention is just to watch them, this is not a zoo****
There are many many dogs at the shelter so the more volunteers will come, the merrier.
Please have a negative test though.
No matter if you are coming on the day or not, in case you would like to donate, these are the specific needs of the specific shelter:
•cleaning products for the floor (WITH NO CHLORINE)
•dry food
The “Earth is calling” team members Chrysanthi & Sotiroulla will be coordinating the day together with the shelter’s volunteers.
