The Ministry of Finance announced on Wednesday that services at the Citizen Service Centres (ΚΕΠ) across Cyprus are now only available by telephone appointment as part of Covid-19 measures, effective March 26.
Citizens who absolutely have to visit the Citizen Service Centres in person will now have to make an appointment first and only for these services:
-Apply for issuing an ID
-Issuing of European Health Insurance Card
-Apply for issuing a passport, ONLY if travel tickets are submitted
-Issuing of birth certificate for a newborn
-Collection of issued documents (IDs, passports, driving licences, refugee IDs)

Applications for the below services should be placed in the special boxes installed at the entrance of each Service Centre:
-Applications for Social Insurance services (pensions, allowances, grants etc)
-Applications for Minimum Guaranteed Income (EEE)
-Supporting documentation for EEE and child allowance
-Applications for a student grant (the Ministry of Education has extended the deadline to April 30)
Citizens are called to NOT visit the Citizens Centres for the following:
-Renewal of medical cards; the Health Ministry announced that cards that expired in the last six months or are expected to expire by June 30 will remain valid for a period of six months from their date of expiry.
