House burgled in Peyia

Burglars have made off with cash, credit cards and three British passports from a holiday home in Peyia.

The Cyprus News Agency said that British tourists staying at a holiday home had reported to police that their villa had been broken into yesterday.

They said the burglars had broken into the safe taking 770 euro, 220 pounds, credit cards and three British passports.

Police are investigating.
