‘Get a Job’ Fair: find your dream job in Cyprus or abroad

The European Commission Representation in Cyprus and the EURES network are organising the fair “Get a Job” for the third consecutive year.

The Fair  — which will be held at the Carob Mill in Limassol between 10 am and 7 pm on Thursday aims to support unemployed graduates, but also new entrants on the labour market in planning their future career steps, by providing them with knowledge and information on employment opportunities and vacancies in Cyprus and abroad.

Participants will also be offered the chance to learn about available traineeships, voluntary work, education and employment mobility opportunities. In addition, the fair incorporates two separate workshops, in Greek and English, targeted at young people, so as to provide them with CV writing advice tips, guide them through successful interview skills and advise them on how to register at the Public Employment Service. Moreover, the Public Employment Service, the European Commission Representation in Cyprus and EURES network, will organise a series of one-day workshops across Cyprus dedicated to youth in order to upgrade their horizontal labour market skills.

The fair is addressed to young people not in education or training, higher education graduates and postgraduate students, as well as those who are currently unemployed and looking for a job should not miss this event.

Exhibitors will have the opportunity to network with new young talent and potential future employees, as well as, benefit from networking opportunities with other European and local institutions that work with unemployed people, graduates and more generally, jobseekers.

At the same time, participants will have the opportunity to network with potential future employers, meet them in person, discuss currently available employment opportunities and even have one-to-one interviews. EURES network has confirmed participation with advisors from their offices in Germany, Italy, Finland, Spain, Greece and Czech Republic.
