Free traditional dance lessons for third-country nationals at Athienou

The Municipality of Athienou, in collaboration with the Municipality of Larnaca and the European Funds Unit of the Interior Ministry has announced the launch of the “Open Society Programme’ and the implementation of the action “Teaching traditional dances to third-country nationals”.

The aim of the programme is to integrate third country nationals as smoothly and as fully as possible intoe local society, familiarize them with the local customs and, in general, facilitate their living conditions and their integration into the Cyprus society.

Within the framework of this programme, traditional dance classes will be organized in Athienou, at a place and time agreed with the interested people.

There will be at least 20 lessons of 1.5 hours each. The lessons will be offered free of charge to all ages.
