Replying to questions from CNA, commercial attaché of the Cypriot Embassy in Athens Joseph Kypreos, who has also been elected as head of Commercial and Economic Affairs Diplomats in Greece last September, said that “our aim is to promote Cyprus internationally as a commercial, economic and investment destination.” Cyprus has always promoted its services sector, he noted, adding that now the fields of goods and investments are also promoted at the same time.

Asked about the mission’s composition, Kypreos said there overall comprises 43 diplomats from 23 different countries.

We have invited diplomats who are accredited in Cyprus and are based in Athens but also any other commercial attaché, who may be interested to take part, he added.
