Five star hotel planned close to Larnaca Airport

There are plans for a new five star hotel near Larnaca Airport, Philenews reported on Friday.

It said an application for a mixed tourist development was submitted by the company “The Vegetables Producers Limited.”

The plan is for:

  1. A 295 room two storey five star hotel of 50445 square metres with seven common areas, parking, bar, restaurants, play area, pools etc
  2. A complex of 12 luxury three bedroom houses
  3. A complex of 34 luxury three bedroom houses

The site said that an environmental impact study has been carried out, as the hotel is in close proximity to Larnaca Airport and the salt lake.

The hotel aims to primarily attract conference tourism and to cater for passengers using the airport.
