The work of artists from the Maronite community of Cyprus will be showcased for the first time in a two-day group exhibition this weekend, February 8-9, at Kastelliotissa Hall in Nicosia Old Town.
Featured works include paintings, ceramics, prints, weaving, photography, and mosaics.
The exhibition is held within the framework of annual celebrations for St Maron, the patron saint of the Maronite community. The event is organised by the office of the Maronite Representative in parliament, Yiannakis Moussas.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on Saturday, February 8, at 3.45 pm by the Maronite Archbishop of Cyprus Youssef Soueif.
The exhibition will be open to the public on Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 am to 6.30 pm.
