Hundreds of hair salons, barbershops and beauty centres have restarted engines today as Phase Two of the easing of shutdown measures to stem Covid-19 gets underway.
Thousands of workers have gone back to work adhering to all hygiene measures based on protocols issued by the Health Ministry.
According to philenews, all staff are wearing protective masks, while at hair salons there are screens separating hair washing basins from one another.
In addition, chairs and tools are disinfected after each customer while distancing regulations are also adhered to.
In some businesses, philenews notes, the temperature of customers is also taken before entering the premises.
