Seasonal low pressure is affecting the area, with a hot air mass forecast from tomorrow.
Today will start off with local increased low cloud and patchy fog which will soon clear and the weather will become mainly fine.
Temperatures will rise to 39 C inland, around 32 C on the east and south coasts and around 30 C on the other coasts and in the mountains.
Tonight will be mainly fine although locally there will be increased low cloud and patchy fog. Temperatures will fall to 22 C inland, around 23 C on the coast and around 19 C in the mountains.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday will be mainly fine while on Thursday afternoon there will be increased local cloud, mainly in the mountains and inland. At night and early in the morning there will be increased local low cloud and patchy fog.
Temperatures will edge up in the next few days, and on Saturday will be noticeably above average for the time of year, particularly in the mountains and inland.
