The warm air mass affecting the area will move east on Saturday bringing a noticeable drop in temperatures over the weekend, the met office said in its early weather bulletin.
Friday will be mainly fine with light dust in the atmosphere at intervals. Temperatures will be 38 C inland, 35 C on the east coast, 33 C on the south coast, around 30 C on the remaining coasts and 28 C in the mountains.
Tonight will be mainly fine. Temperatures will fall to 16 C inland, 19 C on the west coast, around 17 C on remaining coasts and 15 C in the mountains.
Over the weekend the weather will be mainly fine with increased cloud at intervals. There will be a noticeable drop in temperatures.
Monday will be mainly fine but there may be light dust in the atmosphere. Temperatures will edge up to close to average for the time of year.
