Driver driving with his feet to appear in court

The Police immediately opened a case for the 43-year-old truck driver who was seen driving with his feet and demanded that his professional and regular driver’s license be revoked. According to information from the Police, the investigation carried out by the Limassol Traffic Police has been completed and was forwarded to court yesterday for immediate hearing.

The case was submitted to Larnaca District Court after it was identified that at the time of the offence, the truck was being driven on the Larnaca-Kofinou highway. As far as the 43-year-old’s charges are concerned, these include the offence of dangerous and negligent driving and driving with no hands.

The offence was committed last week when the driver posted a live Facebook feed of himself driving his truck driving with his feet.

Once the Police were able to identify the driver, he was called to the Limassol Traffic Police for a statement where he denied being the driver of the truck. Despite his denial, the police went ahead and charged him in writing.
