Gerakies is a village in Nicosia district. It is a located at the green valley of Marathasa and is close to Kykkos and the villages of Kalopanayiotis, Peloudas and Moutoullas.
During the summer the climate is cool while the winters are heavy.
The village was hit by the wave of urbanisation and has only 100 inhabitants today.
