Apesia (Greek: Aπεσιά or Απαισιά) is a village in the Limassol District of Cyprus, located 3 kilometres (2 miles) southeast of Korfi in the south of Troodos mountains and between the rivers Garyllis and Limnatis.
Traditional and modern architect co-exist in the is picturesque and beautiful village. On the hand you can admire the stone-build houses and on the other hand the new big residences.
The church of Agios Georgios
The church of Ayios Georgios is located in the core of the village. Both the bell tower and the church have been renovated recently. It is a single-roomed church with a simple wooden iconostasis inside. As far as its dimensions are concerned, the church is 20 metres long and 7 metres wide. It is worth noting that old icons and books are preserved in the church
