The Centre of Contemporary Art Diatopos presents the new artistic work by Angela Kyriakou entitled ‘Disclaimer’.

The exhibition opens on Friday, October 5th at 20:00, and will last until the 27th of October. 

About the artist:

Angela Kyriakou studied English Language and Literature at the University of Cyprus and Graphic Design at Intercollege. She followed postgraduate studies in Aesthetics & Sciences of Art at the University of Paris-Sorbonne 1, and Fine Art at Brighton University. She then studied Philosophy of Art (MPhil) at Sussex University. She has been a full-time lecturer in Fine Art at Alexander College since 2008 and she is also a practicing artist. She is working with conceptual 2D art, especially painting and drawing, and she is concerned with issues relating to language and meaning. She has exhibited her work both nationally and internationally and some of her work is in private and public collections in Cyprus and abroad. Her research interests focus on analytic philosophy of art, understanding and perception of art, and art as practice.
