A surprise candidacy is in the works for the Municipality of Nicosia.
Owner of the popular tavern “Zanettos,” Panagiotis Mentzis is set to announce his independent candidacy.
The surprise mayoral bid was made known by Stamatis Kraounakis in a post in which he stated among other things: “I like Zanettos as Mayor”.
We contacted Mentzis and he confirmed the information. He also mentioned that in the municipal election race, he will run with the slogan: “Strong Capital”.
