Cyprus’ emergency aid to Lebanon on its way on Tuesday

The loading of all the items that have been collected for devastated Lebanon, both by individuals and corporations all over the island’s five collection points will be completed later on Monday, according to Philenews.

Dry food items have been packed by volunteers over the weekend, the Office of the Commissioner for Volunteering and Non-Governmental Organisations has announced.

The loading and transport is done in collaboration with the island’s Army and Civil Defence.

On Tuesday, the cargo will be transported Limassol port where it will be loaded together with other items on the Greek Navy vessel IKARIA which is to depart for Lebanon.(CNA)
