-Where do you usually enjoy your morning coffee?
-On weekdays I enjoy my morning coffee at RIK. The best coffee however is the one that my son makes at the weekends.
-Which is your favourite city yard?
-My house’s yard, of course.
-Where can you find the best souvlaki?
-The best souvlakia re those my husband makes.
-Where do you find authentic meze dishes?
-At Vlachos tavern in Larnaca. A place that combines quality food, great service in a friendly and pleasant environment.
-Favourite shop in your neighbourhood?
-Every shop that offers good food is my favourite.
-Could you reveal a well-hidden city gem?
-Kafeodeio “H Prothermansi.” A warm space, where one can enjoy good Greek music with company.
-A restaurant that holds a special place in your heart? A recommended dish?
-I like good food. Whichever restaurant I visit and find good, I’ll recommend to other people.
-Which is your favourite kind of cuisine and where you can enjoy it in Cyprus?
-I love Chinese cuisine. For me, the best place that offers it is Taipei Town Restaurant in Larnaca. It is truly the best of its kind!
-The best place to hang out with friends?
-I haven’t discovered it yet!
-Where could you find the best cocktails?
-Whichever makes me a good margarita.
-Where do you usually find delightful sweets?
-At Thimonia bakery in Pera Chorio. You can find whatever you want there.
-Which place do you remember fondly?
-My wonderful village, Alambra. I was born here, grew up here and still live here. I was fortunate to grow up with wonderful village flavours next to my grandmother and grandfather. Fresh homemade breads, halloumi, trachanas, loukoumades – everything made by grand Aggeliki. My best memories are from this village!
