Coronavirus: Two repatriation flights from Larnaca, Paphos

Two flights, one from Larnaca and one from Paphos airport, will depart on Friday repatriating foreign nationals stranded in Cyprus following measures to contain the spread of Covid-19.

According to CNA, one Israir flight to Tel Aviv is scheduled to depart from Larnaca airport around 10:30 am with 29 passengers on board.

The second flight to Helsinki is on Finnair and will depart from Paphos airport around 13:15 carrying 110 passengers.

Five cargo flights are expected to arrive at Cyprus’ airports on Friday, which are the only flights allowed as per the two-week flight ban that went into effect on March 21.

Two repatriation flights were completed on Thursday that carried 318 passengers from Larnaca airport to Oslo and Frankfurt.
