Private Hospitals placed themselves at the services of the State on Monday at a video conference between the Minister of Health Constantinos Ioannou and representatives of the Cyprus Association of Private Hospitals (PASIN), the CNA reports.
The video call was also attended by a representative of the Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB).
Private hospitals will now be incorporated in the Health Ministry’s wider planning together with public Okypy hospitals to combat the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Minister of Health Constantinos Ioannou said that the participation of private hospitals in the government’s planning is “important and necessary”.
Ioannou informed PASIN at the video call of measures taken by public hospital, and it was mentioned that at present the private hospitals will treat urgent cases and the collaboration with them will be regularly reviewed according to wider plans.
