Coronavirus: Polish and Greek nationals to be repatriated from Larnaca on Tuesday

Two flights to Athens and Warsaw will depart on Tuesday from Larnaca airport to repatriate foreign nationals who were stranded in Cyprus as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the CNA reports.

The flight to Warsaw is expected to depart around 2 pm carrying 63 passengers.

The flight to Athens will also depart around the same time repatriating 17 Greek nationals.

On Wednesday another flight is expected to depart carrying Russian nationals back to Moscow.

Only cargo flights are allowed into Larnaca airport and exceptions are made by permission from the Minister of Transport for humanitarian reasons and for flights coming in without passengers with the sole purpose of repatriating foreign nationals stranded in Cyprus.
