Another German tourist has tested positive for coronavirus in Turkish-held north Cyprus bringing the total number of cases there to 34, all but three of them from the same group of 141 German tourists, the Cyprus News Agency reports.
The other three are Turkish Cypriots — two men who had returned from London and the spouse of one of the two.
The German tourists have been quarantined at a hotel. The first three tourists who tested positive have since recovered and were yesterday discharged from hospital.
Meanwhile, the first charter flight with Turkish Cypriot students landed at 2 am in the Turkish held north and the students are being quarantined.
