Coronavirus: ICR Cyprus donates €100,000 to government effort

Integrated Casino Resorts Cyprus (“ICR Cyprus”) announced today a donation of €100,000 to the Ministry of Health to further enhance the Government’s efforts to curb the spread of  COVID-19 while supporting the Cyprus community during this challenging time.

ICR Cyprus, the joint venture of Melco and Cyprus Phassouri (Cyprus) Ltd (member of the CNS Group), is the developer and operator of Cyprus Casinos “C2” and the upcoming City of Dreams Mediterranean Integrated Casino Resort.

Lawrence Ho, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Melco, said, “At this time of challenge, our thoughts are with the people of Cyprus, and those around the world who are impacted by COVID-19. We stand behind the Cypriot government’s efforts to safeguard the community from the health and socioeconomical impacts of the novel coronavirus and hope that our donation help accelerate the preventive measures to contain its spread and assist those most vulnerable during this time of need.”

Additionally, during this period of need, Cyprus Casinos has temporarily suspended all gaming operations commencing Monday, March 16, for a period of four weeks, in full compliance with the decision of the Council of Ministers, announced on March 15.
