Coronavirus: EAC says payments only online until March 23, no-one will be cut off for non-payment

The Electricity Authority has announced that in the interest of the health of its employees and clients and in order to contain the spread of coronavirus, its offices will not be accepting payments from consumers from tomorrow until March 23 inclusive.

It said that those clients who can should pay online, but clarified that it will not be cutting off power for non-payment.

Payments can be made through the website, www.eac.com.cy, through the EAC Mobile App and bank websites and ATMS.

Customer service officers will be helping consumers online on the following numbers:

Nicosia 22202000, Strovolos 22201000, Kakopetria 22922417 & 22923197, Limassol 25205000, Platres 25813034, Larnaca  24204000, Paralimni 23821277, Paphos  26206000 and Polis Chrysochous 26323214/ 15.

The EAC’s switchboard number for bills is 1818.
