Cloudy with showers, possibility of isolated thunderstorms

It will be cloudy today with some showers and possible thunderstorms. Showers are also forecast for Saturday but a gradual improvement is expected as from the afternoon..

In its early morning weather forecast, the Met Office said weak low pressure is affecting the area. There will be light dust in the atmosphere until the evening.

On Friday, increased medium and high cloud are expected to lead to isolated showers initially while after midday, clouds that form will lead to scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. There may be hail during thunderstorms.

Temperatures will rise to 23 C inland, around 20 C on the coasts and 16 C in the mountains.

Tonight there will be increased cloud at intervals which may lead to isolated showers. Temperatures will fall to 12 C inland and on the coast and 8 C in the mountains.

Saturday will be partly cloudy and at intervals cloudy, with local showers and isolated thunderstorms which may be accompanied by hail.

A gradual improvement is expected from the afternoon.

Temperatures will remain at the same levels.

Sunday will be partly cloudy at intervals and temperatures are expected to edge up.

Monday will be partly cloudy at intervals. Temperatures will edge down to a little below the seasonal average.
