The 44th march, organised by the Cyprus Anticancer Association, better known as “Christodoula march”, takes place today in all towns.
In Nicosia it starts at 10.30 near Agios Demetrios park, in the presence of Transport Minister Vasiliki Anastasiadou.
In Limassol, it sets off at 10.30 from Evagorio day care centre, and first lady Andri Anastasiades will lead the march.
In Larnaca, three marches will take place from various locations. At Finikoudes, House President Demetris Syllouris will address the marchers.
In Paphos, the march will start at 10.30 from the Town Hall, where Paphos bishop Georgios will talk to the people.
In Famagusta area, people will start walking at 10.30 from Dherynia Twon Hall, following an address by the Minister of Interior Constantinos Petrides.
In Polis Chrysohous, the march will start from the church of Apostolos Andreas at 10.30, led by mayor Panagiotis Papachristofi.
