Christmas atmosphere at Cyprus’ airports

Christmas magic has come to Larnaca Airport, with stories from the best loved Christmas fairy-tales, decorations, charity Christmas markets and beautiful Christmas melodies by live bands in the Check-In and duty-free shopping areas.

The Christmas events officially launched with the illumination of the Christmas decorations on December 4. Throughout the month, Larnaca district primary school pupils will go to the airport where entertainers will read Christmas tales.  Also planned are crafts and Christmas music.

Christmas bazaars will be set up in the Check-In and duty-free shopping areas of Larnaca Airport December 12 and 19 and of Paphos Airport on December 21, the proceeds of which will be given to the NGOs Alkyonides and Sophia Foundation (December 12 , and December 19 and 21 respectively). Furthermore, musicians from Saxess Stories and Ocho Cuerdas will be keeping travellers at both airports company with Christmas tunes for string and wind instruments respectively.

The full programme of Christmas Events is available on the website of Hermes Airports www.hermesairports.com or on the following link Christmas Events. The Christmas video  is available in the following link video.
