BSM Environmental Activities World Ocean Day

Underwater Clean-up: 9th June
A group of 8 certified divers, including 4 from the BSMCY office, together with their instructor, will dive into the waters next to the Crowne Plaza hotel in Limassol, this coming Sunday, 9th of June, to remove any marine debris from the water, in an effort to protect our seas against pollution. This can help us maintain the beauty and cleanliness of the water, as well as the safety of the animals that call it home! The divers will meet at their location at 08:00hrs.
Anyone wishes to join us on the day and support our divers, is more than welcome.

Beach clean-up: 23rd June
Our second clean-up for 2019 is taking place on the 23rd June @ 09:00 at the Karnagio beach area in Limassol. The day will start with an interactive educational training provided by the Department of Fisheries and Marine Research (DFMR). Following the training we will continue with our beach-clean-up which will take us about 2 hours, depending on the amount of trash we will find at the area. Let’s join forces for our seas, oceans and rivers!
