A Nicosia-based bakery was fined €1,500 for violating protective measures aiming to curb the spread of the coronavirus in Cyprus, Philenews reported on Friday.
Police said the booked establishment was failing to check customers for a SafePass.
At the same time, 31 individuals all across Cyprus were fined in the past 24 hours for breach of Covid-19 measures.
The Force had carried out a total of 2,749 inspections.
In Nicosia, 1,128 checks were carried out and four fines handed out, while in Limassol 194 inspections led to six fines.
In Larnaca, 455 checks were carried out and five citizens got fines, while 151 inspections in Paphos led to three fines handed out.
In Famagusta, 456 checks were carried out and 13 citizens got fines while 96 inspections in Morphou led to no fines at all.
