Eleni Plakidou, whose body was found in the Akamas after a ten day search, had drowned according to an autopsy carried out on Wednesday at Paphos Hospital.
The body of the 69 year old woman was found in a ravine in the Akamas. It is believed that she fell into the sea and her body was brought to the shore where she was found by a volunteer search party on Monday morning.
A German married to a Cypriot and resident in the area for many years, Plakidou had left her house in Argakas on January 10 to go to the kiosk.
Her car was discovered stuck in mud near the Blue Lagoon in the Akamas on the Friday. her bag was found nearby last Saturday.
