New Covid-19 cases at Alphamega Acropolis, Spar Larnaca and Nicosia Polyclinic (update)

 

An employee at Alphamega Acropolis tested positive for coronavirus, the second such case at the branch in two days, as the Health Ministry publicised the names of businesses where positive cases have been identified, in line with relevant Covid-19 legislation.

The employee was found positive at the Alphamega Acropolis wine cellar. The individual has been taken off duty, as have their close contacts. The supermarket has been disinfected and it will reopen tomorrow, as all supermarkets are closed today in accordance with the decree for the closure of commercial businesses on Sunday.

Ermes Department Stores Plc notified the Health Ministry in the afternoon. It is closed on Sunday in accordance with the relevant decree.

Αn individual has also been found positive at the Specialised Laboratory Treatment Unit of the Polyclinic Nicosia. The management has been informed and a decree issued for the closure of Radiology, taking the staff off duty and disinfecting the area in accordance with the relevant decrees.
