Beaches & Seacoast Limassol Akti Olympion B Beach - Blue Flag

Akti Olympion B Beach – Blue Flag

A coastal strip full of amenities.

Located in the town of Lemesos (Limassol), the beach of Akti Olympion B joins the beach of Akti Olympion A, and together they form a 2 km strip that is considered to be one of the most accessible and convenient in Lemesos, offering a wide variety of amenities in addition to its lovely coastline.

Comprised of dark grey sands – that are compacted enough to suit jogging – and calm, clean waters, the beach is popular with all.

Facilities on the beach include toilets, showers and changing rooms (only at the east side of the beach), sun beds, umbrellas and water sports, a beach volleyball court, a children’s playground, beach café, benches under the shade of trees, and access to the facilities of the Akti Olympion A beach too. The general area is also lined with cafes, bars, restaurants, kiosks, shops, hotels and entertainment establishments. The beach offers disabled access.

Lifeguards with lifesaving equipment and first aid services are stationed at the beach from April – October, 09:00 – 17:00, and until 18:00 during the summer season.

The nearby pier of Enaerios is popular with anglers, and its square offers sheltered benches in a grassy area with lush trees. The beach is also a good starting point for exploring the area further with plenty to see and do a short step away from its sands.

Access is easy by foot, bike, bus or car with a network of cycle paths, pedestrian lanes, public transport and car parks in the general vicinity.
