Relevant News

A flight will depart Larnaca Airport for Moscow today to repatriate Russians stranded here because of a near lockdown to contain the spread of coronavirus, the Cyprus News Agency reports.

It said the Ural Airlines flight is expected to leave a little after 2 pm.

On Sunday, a total of 332 passengers left from Larnaca on board three flights, two for Moscow and one for Frankfurt, repatriating residents of Russia and Germany.

Another 711 had left on Saturday on seven flights.

Passengers are tourists or foreign nationals who wanted to return to their country.

There were no arrivals at Larnaca yesterday and none are scheduled for today.
