Paphos anti-narcotics police have arrested a 46 year old man for illegal possession of drugs and steroids following a search of his home, his cars and another house he was using, the Cyprus News Agency has reported.
It said during the search of his home on Friday afternoon, police found 6,890 euro, 320 pounds sterling, two little bottles believed to contain steroids and 21 fire crackers.
In his two cars they found 77 grams of a white powder believed to be cocaine and precision scales.
During a search of another house belonging to a 34 year old woman and also used by the suspect, they found 614 pouches of 50 grams of tobacco for which he paid an 11,000 euro fine.
He was arrested in connection with illegal use and possession of drugs with intent to sell, illegal possession and use of steroids, money laundering and illegal possession of explosive materials.
