Today was the final day of the IKA Culinary Olympics in Stuttgart that will send the Cypriot national teams home with three silver and three bronze medals.
The mission was headed by chefs Nicolas Constantinou and Panayiotis Charalambous.
The Cypriot medals are:
3-course menu (restaurant of Nations) / National team – Silver
3-course menu (restaurant of Nations) / Youth team – Silver
3-course menu (restaurant of Nations) / District team – Silver
Chefs table (7-course Dinner) / National team – Bronze
Show piece / District team – Bronze
IKA buffet / Youth team – Bronze
The Culinary Olympics take place every four years with teams from 59 countries participating in this year’s edition. The event’s origins date back to 1900 when the world’s first culinary arts exhibition was staged in Frankfurt.
