A 17 year old biker who was critically injured in a traffic collision in Protaras on June 7 has succumbed to his injuries, the Cyprus News Agency reports.
It said that Stephanos Piliotis had been in intensive care in Nicosia Hospital.
The accident occurred at around 6.10 pm on June 7 when a car driven by a 64 year old man pulled out of a parking bay and collided with the motorbike driven by the 17 year old.
He was taken to Paralimni Hospital with head injuries and from there to Nicosia Hospital where he died 10 days later.
Police investigations showed the young biker was not wearing a helmet.
The 64 year old driver was not injured. He tested negative in an alco-test.
