1000 kilos of avocados worth €2500 stolen from Kouklia field

Paphos police are investigating the theft of about 1000 kilos of avocados from a piece of land in Kouklia, the Cyprus News Agency reports.

It said the complaint was filed by the 70 year old owner who has 80 avocado trees on the land. The stolen fruit has an estimated value of €2500, it added.

Access was from the north of the field where fencing is low and access easy, the news agency added.
