A British man died on Tuesday morning while swimming in Yeroskipou, according to reporter.com.cy.
The man, accompanied by his partner, suddenly felt unwell and lost consciousness while in the sea.
Emergency response brought the man ashore, where first aid was administered before an ambulance transported him to Paphos General Hospital.
There doctors declared him dead.
